Statement of Faith

As a Christian, I believe that:

There is one true God, eternally existing in three parts — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ, who is God, came to earth in human form through the miracle of the virgin birth via Mary. He lived a completely sinless life, and voluntarily died on the cross in order to cancel out the sins (the bad nature inherent in humans) of those who repent and trust in him alone.

He rose from the dead, proving once more his deity and his triumph over death and sin.

Humans are inherently flawed–created in God’s image, humanity rebelled and brought judgement on itself. Salvation is only available through Jesus Christ, and no amount of work, actions or good deeds can bypass that.

God has sent the Holy Spirit to fill and guide all believers, to help them lead a life according to his word, the Bible.
